Awards announcement: Innkeeper magazine announces relaunch

The publisher of Innkeeper is proud to announce an exciting relaunch of the magazine.

From May the publication will build on its existing format for inns throughout the UK, while expanding its reach and incorporating sister title Luxury Bed & Breakfast, with additional focus on boutique hotels and guest houses.

As a result of the merger, the announcement of the winners of the Excellence in Luxury Service Awards and the associated ceremony have been put back to the autumn. We are therefore today announcing an extension for awards submissions to the first week of September. We have been delighted by the high standard of entries received ahead of the original deadline.

The merger of the two titles is a response to the crossover of interest between small, independent guest accommodation business, and as reaction to the general need to operate in as environmentally-friendly a format as we can, reducing the printing and paper use whilst continuing to deliver a product of the highest quality to our existing and new readers.

Publisher Helen Richmond said: “The new title will remain absolutely committed to the audience of innkeepers, while examining in greater depth the finer aspects of luxury independent accommodation.

“The expanded magazine will include profiles of luxury B&Bs, inns, guest houses and boutique hotels, exploring the delivery of innovative ideas as well as the challenges such businesses face.”

The new awards date will be announced here shortly.
